Binance to Support Syscoin (SYS) Network Upgrade and Hard Fork on April 8, 2025
Binance has announced its support for the upcoming Syscoin (SYS) network upgrade and hard fork, set to take place at block height 2,010,345, estimated around April 8, 2025, at 00:30 UTC.
Deposit & Withdrawal Suspension
To ensure a smooth upgrade process, deposits and withdrawals of SYS will be paused starting April 6, 2025, at 23:30 UTC. However, trading of SYS will continue without interruption.
Key Details of the Upgrade:
Total and circulating supply of SYS will increase.
The annual inflation rate will rise from the current 3.5% to a maximum of 10.79%.
Binance will manage all technical aspects of the upgrade and will resume SYS deposits and withdrawals once the network is confirmed to be stable.
