And spot CVD is basically flat. That’s the contradiction most people are missing. If fresh capital were aggressively entering BTC, you’d want to see spot demand and OI confirming the move. Instead, this could be more about position rotation, shorts closing, and existing Longs becoming increasingly crowded. That makes high funding a double-edged signal. It can fuel a breakout if spot demand finally confirms it. But if BTC gets rejected again, crowded Longs could become fuel for a brutal long squeeze.
