#MyFirstFeedPost Hello, Binance Square! Ethereum is a leading blockchain platform, but it has one major drawback: it is slow and expensive to use. This is because Ethereum is a decentralized network, and every transaction on the network needs to be validated by all nodes.
Zero-knowledge rollups (ZK-rollups) are a type of scaling solution for blockchain networks that use zero-knowledge proofs to verify transactions off-chain. This allows for much faster and cheaper transactions than on-chain transactions, while still maintaining the same level of security.
Speaking at an event hosted by Intmax Hioki Leona the founder of Intmax said Intmax uses a new ZK-rollup approach “recursive zero-knowledge proof” that offers several advantages over existing ZK-rollups. Intmax is more scalable, more secure, and easier to decentralize than other ZK-rollups.
SCALABILITY Intmax is more scalable than other ZK-rollups because it uses Recursive zero-knowledge proofs which allows ZK-rollups to verify the validity of thousands of transactions in a single proof. This makes Intmax much faster than other ZK-rollups.
SECURITY Intmax is more secure than other ZK-rollups because it is based on a new type of cryptographic primitive called a “commitment scheme.” Commitment schemes allow Intmax to commit to the state of the rollup without revealing it. This makes it very difficult for attackers to cheat on the rollup.
DECENTRALIZATION
Intmax is easier to decentralize than other ZK-rollups because it does not require a central aggregator to process transactions. Instead, any user can become an aggregator on Intmax. This makes Intmax more resistant to censorship and attack.
Here are some specific examples of how Intmax could be used to benefit the Web3 space:
Decentralized exchanges (DEXs): Intmax could be used to build DEXs that are faster and cheaper than current DEXs. This would make DEXs more accessible to users and could help to increase the adoption of DeFi.
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs): Intmax could be used to scale NFT marketplaces and make NFTs more affordable.
