The BABY Unlock Schedule That Keeps Coming No Matter What

I skipped the usual staking talk on Babylon and checked the unlock calendar instead. That part actually hit different.

BABY is sitting near 0.01271 right now and down roughly 3.2 percent over the past week. Next unlock hits August 10 with 136.11 million tokens worth about 1.73 million dollars. That is around 1.2 percent of total supply. It spreads across team advisor and investor buckets on the same monthly cliff they have run since May.

The unlock does not care if the price is rising or falling. It just releases on schedule every month. The docs talk about long term aligned incentives and it sounds solid but in reality it is scheduled dilution that reaches insiders first on a clock that ignores protocol usage and actual BTC flowing in.

Retail hears the staking yield story while insiders get a steady monthly release that happens no matter the demand. I used to think these unlocks would somehow follow TVL growth. They do not. It is pure calendar math.

That leaves me wondering how much of BABYs monthly price moves come from the market just absorbing the new supply and how much is real reaction to the protocol itself.
