This month wasn't easy. I experienced two significant drawdowns, and the account curve went down at one point. It's not true to say that I wasn't anxious. But I didn't lose heart either, nor did I disrupt my rhythm due to short-term fluctuations. Reviewing, adjusting, and executing, doing the actions that should be done well, and slowly getting back to the high point.
Trading is not about always having favorable conditions, but whether one can adhere to discipline and maintain a stable mindset after a drawdown and continue moving forward. After all, those who can survive in the market are the winners.

[Two Points to Note]
1) For Copy Trading friends: There will inevitably be drawdowns in trading. Please don't cancel orders randomly due to short-term fluctuations. If your mindset is easily affected by yield fluctuations, I suggest starting with a small amount of funds and acting within your means.
2) Currently, the public domain orders are mainly short-term trading. I want to try opening private domain for long-term trading. I have decades of stock trading experience and am willing to transfer this experience to long-term trading, but I still respect the market. The minimum entry amount for private domain long-term trading: 1000U.

The earnings season is gradually gaining momentum starting this week, with Micron leading the charge tonight. If I were to pick one sector to focus on over the coming months, I would concentrate on the AI compute chain, particularly memory and semiconductor equipment.

Let me first explain the rationale behind this direction. According to the latest forward-looking data from Zacks, the S&P 500 is expected to deliver overall earnings growth of 23.9% in Q3, with the technology sector at +41.9%, energy at an even more striking +111.5%, and aerospace and defense reaching +159.5%. However, the growth rates in energy and aerospace are largely driven by low base effects and geopolitical factors, rendering their sustainability questionable. The technology sector is different, as it is driven by genuine demand. Micron's EPS for this quarter is projected to grow 938% year-over-year, with revenue growth of 349%. These figures may appear alarming, but they are underpinned by simultaneous increases in both volume and pricing for HBM and server DRAM, rather than one-off factors.

#CLARITYAct :49 votes in favor / 50 against / 60 needed to proceed

These were the results of yesterday's Senate vote. While this didn't amount to a final rejection of the bill, the failure to secure 60 votes meant the Senate couldn't advance it to the next stage of debate—meaning progress on the long-awaited U.S. crypto market structure framework remains stalled. $BTC

The market did react: Bitcoin dropped to around $76,000—briefly dipping below $75,000—while Ethereum and Solana fell about 5%. $XRP dropped nearly 10%.

This vote is significant because the CLARITY Act aims to clearly define the regulatory powers of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) over digital assets, which is one of the biggest unresolved issues in the U.S. cryptocurrency industry.

However, I wouldn't attribute the entire sell-off solely to this single vote. The crypto market is simultaneously digesting:

🐳 Further delays in U.S. market structure legislation

🐳 An upcoming Federal Reserve decision

🐳 Pressure on broader risk assets

🐳 Persistent regulatory uncertainty

So, while Washington has removed a potential positive catalyst, it hasn't brought the entire industry to a standstill. Work on stablecoins, custody, tokenization, and institutional infrastructure continues, and regulators are still crafting rules, even if the CLARITY Act hasn't officially passed yet.

I don't necessarily view the $75k–$76k range as the final dip before the next leg up, but I do wonder if this period of turbulence will ultimately prove to be a transitional window—a time when stronger infrastructure is being built beneath the surface.

The initial jobless claims in the US rose to 206,000, and BTC saw an upward surge. The weekly employment data showed a moderate weakening, which is not sufficient to confirm a policy shift. After the pulse-like rise, the market will continue to wait for subsequent employment and inflation data to validate the trend. At this stage, we should remain cautious and not blindly chase the high prices.
