A friend of mine still runs a full Bitcoin node from 2016. Used to make fun of him for it seemed like overkill. But he'd always say the same thing: "the second you stop verifying, you're back to trusting." Took me years to actually get what he meant.
Babylon's Trustless Bitcoin Vaults run on that same principle. Your BTC stays locked in a script only you co-sign — nothing to verify because there's no middleman claiming to hold it. Aave v4 testnet already treats it as real collateral.
Feels like DeFi finally caught up to what node runners knew all along. But does "trustless" hold once billions are locked in it, or does scale always find a new place to hide trust?

BTC was sitting there.
Everyone around me was chasing DeFi yields.
Every path sounded familiar.
Wrap it.
Bridge it.
Trust someone else.
So I did nothing.
That's why Trustless Bitcoin Vaults from @BabylonLabs_io caught my attention.
Native BTC never leaves Bitcoin.
No wrapped asset.

The interesting part is the last one.
As trading volume grows, more AEVO is bought back and removed from supply.

1. Bounce into $66K-$67K2. Short consolidation
3. Breakdown below $58K4. Flush into $54K-$45K5. Peak panic
6. Cycle bottom around October-November

I don't think the bear market is over.
I think the hardest part is still ahead.
That's also where I expect the best buying opportunity of this entire cycle.

The next call will matter even more.
