According to PANews, a federal court in the United States has ordered Elon Musk to testify again in the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) investigation into his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter. The SEC had previously sued Musk in October of last year, demanding his testimony. At the time, Musk claimed that the SEC was attempting to 'harass' him with a large number of subpoenas.

The SEC has stated that the focus of the investigation is whether Musk violated federal securities laws when he purchased Twitter shares in 2022. The agency is also reviewing statements and SEC filings submitted by Musk regarding this transaction.
