The decision by Christine Lagarde to step down from her role as President of the European Central Bank was made public this week. She stands out as an exceptionally forward thinking guide who excels at forging agreements and delivering her message with complete proficiency. The positive influence she has brought to these two organizations, the overall realm of central banking, and the whole of Europe is truly substantial.
