$META was up 40% in a month.

Now it's down 18% in a matter of weeks.

This is what volatility actually looks like — not risk, not opportunity, just noise.

Most people confuse short-term price swings with actual changes in business fundamentals. They don't move at the same speed. A stock can drop 18% while the underlying company is doing exactly what it was doing three weeks ago.

If you're reacting to every move like this, you're not investing. You're just getting whipped around by other people's emotions.

Zoom out. Ask yourself: did anything meaningful change about the business? If not, the price is just the market being the market.

This is why position sizing and time horizon matter more than being right about direction.
