Noah, a stablecoin payments infrastructure company, said Western Union selected it to provide infrastructure for its global stablecoin payments platform. According to Foresight News, Noah will supply the underlying on-chain banking network for Western Union’s Receiver Redirect service, along with treasury management and licensing support for prefunding, conversion, and stablecoin disbursement.
The service runs on Western Union’s U.S. dollar stablecoin, USDPT, issued by Anchorage Digital Bank on Solana. Customers can send remittances in USDPT at Western Union agent locations, while recipients can deposit the stablecoins into a Western Union wallet and hold them through Stablecard, which Western Union launched in August 2026.
Foresight News previously reported that Noah announced a $38 million seed round in October 2026, with participation from Endeit Capital, FJ Labs, LocalGlobe, Felix Capital, and angel investors. The funds will support expansion of its international remittance business and regulatory presence.
