🛸 CASE FILE #285

Canada's Oil-Rich Alberta Reportedly Votes AGAINST Separation.

Unofficial results from a reported referendum show:

77% voted to remain in Canada.
23% supported separation.

Alberta holds most of Canada's proven oil reserves, making its political future a major economic issue.

Separatists argue that the province sends too much money to Ottawa while federal policies undermine its energy industry.

The vote also comes amid tensions over U.S. trade policy and President Trump's remarks about Canada becoming America's 51st state.

But here's the twist: The vote was reportedly non-binding and would not itself have granted independence.

Alberta may have rejected separation for now. But the fight over oil, taxes and federal power isn't necessarily over.
