The CFA Level III exam pass rate was 47% in August, below the 50% recorded in both February and August last year and below the average for the past decade. According to Sina Finance, the CFA Institute said pass rates remained much lower for candidates who postponed the exam: 56% for first-time test takers and 31% for candidates who had postponed at least once.
