SPY and oil spiked together at 11:12:18 ET — not a coincidence.

SPY had been drifting sideways around $771 since topping at $772.29 at 10:30. Then at 11:12:18, it dropped from $770.70 to $767.95 in under a minute — down 0.35% — on 5.2× normal volume, the heaviest print since the open. It bounced to $769.70 by 11:16, then faded again to $768.81, now down 0.45% from the morning high.

Oil moved at the exact same second. That's not flow, that's news.

Market is still hair-trigger sensitive to Middle East headlines. Any geopolitical flare-up is getting priced instantly through oil, and SPY is following in lockstep. Watch the tape — if oil holds the move, equities stay heavy. If it fades, we probably drift back toward $771.
