$BTC NEARLY $90M REPORTED STOLEN FROM LEDGER USERS LINKED TO ONE RESELLER
The Ledger wallet scare in Southeast Asia is getting worse.
Reports now put the total losses linked to customers of reseller CryptoBillis at nearly $90 million. Ledger says it is investigating reports of stolen funds and has asked the reseller to pause sales and shipments.
One reported victim, identified as TY24Ya, allegedly purchased a Ledger device through CryptoBillis three weeks ago and deposited 7 million USDT into the wallet.
Around 10 hours ago, the funds were reportedly drained.
If confirmed, that would represent an enormous single-wallet loss. The timing raises serious questions about a possible supply-chain compromise, but the precise attack method and the link between the reseller and each theft remain unverified.
🚨 Safety reminder: If you bought a Ledger device from CryptoBillis recently, follow Ledger’s official guidance. Never share your recovery phrase, and use only official support channels.
Nearly $90M in reported losses — how can buyers verify a hardware wallet’s supply chain?
