Emergency crews are clearing mud, rocks and stranded vehicles from streets in Chile’s capital after flash flooding swept through the affluent Las Condes neighborhood, damaging homes, hospitals and a university, according to Bloomberg.
The area in Santiago has been declared a disaster zone, and at least six people were hurt Thursday afternoon.
