$86M REPORTED LOST FROM LEDGER USERS — CRYPTOBILLIS UNDER INVESTIGATION

A major security scare is hitting Ledger users in Southeast Asia, with reported losses exceeding $86 million across Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON. The cause remains unconfirmed. Source

Ledger Support says it is investigating reports involving customers who purchased devices from a reseller named CryptoBillis.

As a precaution, Ledger has asked the reseller to suspend all sales and shipments while the investigation continues.

Ledger’s guidance is specific:

* Bought from CryptoBillis within the last 90 days but haven’t set up your device? Don’t initiate setup yet.
* Already set it up? Consider moving your assets to a new Ledger signer with a new seed phrase.

The suspected supply-chain angle is serious, but it has not been confirmed as the root cause. This is not evidence that every Ledger device has been compromised.

If you’re affected, follow updates through Ledger’s official support channel and never share your recovery phrase with anyone claiming to help.
