đ„ Iâm slowly turning bullish on $UNI again.
When UNI was around $9, with an ~$8B market cap, I thought it was too expensive.
Now itâs around $7.80, after a sharp pullback.
That changes the risk/reward for me.
A good project can still be a bad buy at the wrong price.
And UNI is starting to look interesting again.
The biggest thing Iâm watching isnât just Robinhood Chain.
Itâs value capture.
Uniswap now has a mechanism where protocol fees can ultimately lead to UNI burns.
So the bigger question is:
đ More trading volume
đ More protocol fees
đ More UNI burned
If tokenized stocks, stablecoins and institutional assets keep moving on-chain, Uniswap could become one of the major trading layers for that activity.
Robinhood Chain is already an important part of the story, but I don't think the UNI thesis ends there.
I'm also watching whale activity.
Some large wallets have been adding UNI, although overall whale holdings are still not back to early-September levels.
So I wouldn't call this a full whale accumulation phase yet.
For me, these are the 3 numbers that matter most:
đ Trading volume
đ° Protocol fees
đ„ Actual UNI burns
If real TradFi volume starts flowing through Uniswap and a meaningful part of that activity turns into UNI burnsâŠ
UNI could look very different at a much higher market cap.
Iâm not saying $20, $50 or $100 is guaranteed.
Iâm saying the value-capture story is getting more interesting.
Would you buy UNI around $7.80, or are you still bearish? đ
