Pudgy Penguins' Abstract network just shut down — the second Ethereum layer-2 to close in seven days. The market answered fast: $OP crashed 10% in 24 hours, the worst fall in the whole CoinDesk 100. $ARB lost about 7% and MNT close to 10% too.
My take: the L2 sector is quietly consolidating while everyone watches Bitcoin. Dead chains mean the surviving networks — and their tokens — just got scarcer.
