One of the hardest lessons in trading: knowing when to floor it and when to pull back.

We're wired to think effort = results. That works when you're grinding a skill or building something. But in markets? Totally different game.

The market doesn't pay you for screen time. It pays you for reading when conditions line up with your edge — and having the spine to act when they do.

Some stretches I'm glued to the desk 12 hours straight, pressing hard because the setups are there. Other times I'm happy to watch from the sidelines, barely touching anything for 2–3 weeks.

Knowing when to trade and when to sit out is the edge itself.

Wu Wei. Let the setup come to you.
