S&P 500 hits intraday record as yields and oil prices ease

📈 The S&P 500 surpassed its August 13 intraday high before extending gains to around 7,840. The Nasdaq also reached a fresh intraday record, while the Dow remained below its previous peak.

📉 The move was supported by easing long-term Treasury yields and a roughly 2% decline in oil prices, reducing some valuation pressure on growth and technology stocks.

đŸ€– The rally remains meaningfully concentrated in AI and mega-cap names, with Nvidia accounting for more than 8% of the S&P 500. Market breadth improved as most sectors advanced, though the move has yet to become fully broad-based.

⏳ This is still only an intraday record while Wall Street remains open. The September FOMC minutes will be the next key catalyst for whether the breakout can hold.
