I've also read from the same source yersterday that available tradeable tokens are quite limited and i've just checked again : seems that it was talking about the fact that the spot trading of the token is doesn't have the same venue coverage as the perpetual
And FYI the spot trasing volume is currently around $256M while the derivative one has exceed $3B already, in the last 24h. So, largely speculative
