🚨 Ethereum's exit queue exploded. But almost twice as much ETH is waiting to enter staking...
#ethereumvalidatorexitqueuejumps392%

ETH waiting to exit surged from roughly 166K to 851K between Sept. 29 and Oct. 2 — more than fivefold — after MetaMask began precautionary validator withdrawals following its security incident.

That sounds like a staking exodus.
Until you check the other queue.

As of Oct. 5, roughly 1.5M ETH was waiting to enter staking, with an estimated 25-day wait. Around 786K ETH remained in the exit queue.
Ethereum deliberately rate-limits both entry and exit to prevent abrupt changes to validator participation and network security.

So:
392% exit surge ≠ 392% increase in immediately sellable ETH.
And Lido expects much of the MetaMask-withdrawn ETH to eventually be restaked.

The real question:
Is Ethereum losing staking demand — or temporarily reorganizing who operates the validators?

DYOR. Queue balances change continuously, and queued ETH is not equivalent to immediate spot-market supply.
