🚨 ARBITRUM HAS A BIG OCTOBER DATE AHEAD
Arbitrum’s latest verified update is about Ethereum’s Glamsterdam upgrade.
On October 6 at 13:53:36 UTC, Ethereum Sepolia is scheduled to activate Glamsterdam. Arbitrum has already released compatibility guidance requiring Arbitrum Sepolia node operators and chains settling on Ethereum Sepolia to upgrade to Nitro v3.11.4 or higher.
But there’s an important distinction:
This does not apply to Arbitrum One or Arbitrum Nova, and Ethereum mainnet does not yet have a scheduled Glamsterdam activation date.
Meanwhile, Arbitrum’s new Security Program launched September 28 with about $7.8M in resources, while a new ordering mechanism using Priority Gas Auctions and Fast Feed is being developed for DeFi and MEV infrastructure.
October 6 is the next confirmed date to watch.
