Cloudflare has opened closed beta testing for its Monetization Gateway, which lets websites charge AI agents per request, query, or token through HTTP 402. According to Foresight News, settlement is handled with USDC, a dollar-pegged stablecoin, on the Base blockchain.

Current use cases include AI inference, web search, market signal services, and PDF generation.
