More than 12.4 million XRP has reportedly been drained from 7,393 XRP Ledger wallets linked to the DâCENT App Wallet between September 15 and September 25.
The incident appears to have involved compromised wallet keys. On-chain researchers say the funds were moved in several waves, with more than 6.3 million XRP subsequently swapped through cross-chain routes into Ethereum.
The impact also appears to extend beyond XRP. Reports indicate that users holding other assets through the affected app were impacted, including at least one Stellar user who lost XLM.
