According to BeInCrypto, Axios said a memo cast Amodei and allies as part of a small group pushing an extreme view of AI risk, and one administration source said his stance clashes with Trump’s AI agenda.

The company has reportedly shifted its IPO from October to November, with a valuation near $2 trillion under discussion. Amodei told a UN Security Council briefing on September 23 that advanced AI could pose “a risk to humanity as a whole” and said Anthropic would be willing to slow development.
