Tokenization is starting to look a lot bigger than just putting a stock onchain.
Ondo just introduced Intelligent Portfolios, with the first three portfolios based on strategies developed by BlackRock for $ONDO .
The interesting part is the structure.
Instead of buying and managing a bunch of different assets yourself, you can hold one onchain token representing an entire portfolio.
Ondo handles the implementation and the portfolio is automatically rebalanced according to its rules.
So the idea is basically:
BlackRock develops the strategy → Ondo puts it onchain → you hold one token.
Eligible non-US investors in permitted jurisdictions can access these portfolio tokens through supported wallets, exchanges and DeFi apps.
And this is where I start thinking about what STON.fi has been building with xStocks.
STON.fi already lets eligible users access tokenized market assets on TON, with assets like $AAPL x, $NVDA x and TSLAx available through the DEX.
The bigger picture is interesting to me:
First we tokenized individual assets.
Now we're starting to see entire portfolios become tokens.
The RWA story is slowly moving from “put this asset onchain” to “make traditional financial products work onchain.”
