Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the Trump administration is pushing three immediate steps to ease the war in Ukraine and restart diplomatic contact with Russia: an energy infrastructure ceasefire, reopening the Black Sea grain corridor, and a U.S.-Russia-Ukraine trilateral meeting, possibly in Abu Dhabi. According to Sina Finance, Zelenskyy said Ukraine is prepared to accept the energy ceasefire proposal and that the U.S. is also seeking to revive the grain corridor and convene trilateral talks.

Zelenskyy said the effort to restart negotiations began three weeks ago, when CIA Director John Ratcliffe visited Moscow. He said Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner later traveled to Moscow and Kyiv, and that the Kremlin said on Wednesday that conditions were not yet in place to restart Russia-Ukraine peace talks.
