Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said Earth’s entire economy is less than a trillionth the size of a star-powered “K2 economy” while reposting a chart on AI infrastructure spending. According to BeInCrypto, the chart compares projected AI outlays through 2032 with past U.S. infrastructure booms and shows AI spending averaging 3.63% of GDP, above railroads, highways and telecom. The data cites Columbia Business School professor Stijn Van Nieuwerburgh’s estimate of an $8.2 trillion buildout.
