PG&E Chief Executive Officer Patti Poppe warned that California needs fast wildfire liability reform or residents will face slower housing growth, delayed clean energy and AI power, and higher long-term costs, according to Bloomberg.

Poppe said customers, not insurers, are currently bearing catastrophic wildfire risk.
