Zest Protocol has published proof of its mainnet deployment for a Bitcoin-backed vault demo that can be independently verified. According to Odaily, the project disclosed three Bitcoin transactions and seven Ethereum transactions.
The product locks Bitcoin in a Bitcoin mainnet vault without wrapping or bridge transfers, and it supports lending stablecoins on Ethereum and other EVM chains. The feature remains a mainnet prototype and is not yet fully open for deposits and borrowing.
Zest Protocol said its roadmap has two stages. The first uses pre-signed transactions to limit Bitcoin settlement paths, and the second moves to BitVM verification. The mainnet prototype is already running, and Zest Protocol is moving ahead with formal deployment.
