JPMorgan said delivery wait times for Apple's iPhone 18 Pro series lengthened sharply in the second week of preorders, with the overall level now close to last year's iPhone 17 series at the same stage. According to Sina Finance, the bank said this suggests demand for the Pro lineup has strengthened compared with the first week.
The global average wait time for the iPhone 18 Pro rose from 7 days in the first week to 23 days in the second week, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max increased from 19 days to 30 days. In the U.S., wait times climbed to 21 days for the iPhone 18 Pro and 28 days for the Pro Max, up from 2 days and 22 days a week earlier. In China, the two models currently require waits of 27 days and 33 days, compared with 13 days and 21 days the previous week.
JPMorgan also said the iPhone 18 Pro Max is not yet available for in-store pickup in China, which may affect the wait-time data. The bank added that the pace of increase in the second week was faster than last year, when wait times for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max rose by 9 days and 7 days, respectively, from the first week to the second week.
