European semiconductor stocks opened higher on Monday, extending Friday's gains. According to Sina Finance, investors have continued to favor AI-related stocks in recent days.

In Asia, SK Hynix closed up 0.6% and Samsung Electronics rose 5%. In Europe, ASML Holding gained 2.8%, ASM International rose 1.9%, BE Semiconductor Industries edged up 0.1%, Infineon climbed 2.4%, and STMicroelectronics advanced 2.3%. Nasdaq 100 small-cap futures were also up 0.8%, pointing to a higher open for U.S. tech stocks.
