Saudi Arabia is increasing prompt spot sales of crude from outside the Strait of Hormuz after the kingdom shut its East-West pipeline, which had carried oil across the country to its Red Sea coast, according to Bloomberg.
The move comes as cross-country flows to the Red Sea coast have been halted.
