European Stocks Rise, but the Recovery Remains Cautious

📈 The FTSE 100 gained 0.29% to 10,824.26, the DAX rose 0.77% to 26,569.99, and the CAC 40 advanced 0.98% to 8,401.18 on August 28.

🏩 Markets stayed in positive territory despite Kevin Warsh’s hawkish message on inflation. His remarks came with around 90 minutes left in the European session, giving investors time to react without treating them as a fresh policy shock.

đŸ’» The gains partly reflected catch-up momentum after the previous strong session in U.S. technology stocks. The FTSE was supported by large-cap names such as HSBC and Shell, while the CAC rebounded after an extended decline.

📊 Still, the FTSE gained just 0.07% for the week, while the CAC remained down 0.98%, suggesting the move was more defensive rebound than confirmation of a new uptrend.
