A Blockchain Asset Is Useless If Nobody Can Trust The Data Behind It
A security can be issued on-chain, but its price still has to come from somewhere. Corporate actions still need verification. Market data still needs to reach the application. Cross-chain transfers still need proper controls.
@Dusk_Foundation and NPEX, I found the Chainlink integration more interesting than I first expected. Dusk and NPEX are using Chainlink DataLink for official exchange data, Data Streams for low-latency market updates, while CCIP is being used as the cross-chain connectivity layer. NPEX already has 100+ SMEs financed and a 17,500+ investor network.
• Putting an asset on-chain is only one layer. Reliable market data has to arrive there too.
• Trading and settlement need the same trusted source of information, not isolated data feeds.
• Cross-chain access matters if regulated securities are eventually expected to interact with broader on-chain markets.
That gives $DUSK a more interesting role than simply hosting tokenized assets. The infrastructure around the asset may be just as important as the asset itself. That is the part of #dusk I’m watching closely now.
