According to Odaily, JPMorgan Chase, Deutsche Bank, and BNP Paribas are working in collaboration with the European Central Bank (ECB) to advance tokenization. The project, which is currently in its early stages, is testing the use of blockchain technology for securities settlement.

The ECB's tokenization experiment began in December of the previous year and is expected to continue until November of this year. Ulrich Bindseil, the ECB's Director General of Market Infrastructure and Payments, first announced the tokenization experiment in December of the previous year. He stated that the aim of the experiment is to look into the future and consider how the form of central bank money can maintain its use.

The collaboration between these major banks and the ECB signifies a significant step towards the integration of blockchain technology in the banking sector. The outcome of this experiment could potentially shape the future of digital currency and its role in global finance.
