According to PANews, Alex Lab, a Bitcoin decentralized finance (DeFi) tool, recently fell victim to a hacker attack, resulting in a loss of $4.3 million. In an effort to recover the stolen funds as quickly as possible, Alex Lab has offered a 10% bounty of the total stolen amount to anyone who can assist in the recovery. This offer is valid until 16:00 on May 18th (Beijing time). Alex Lab, the DeFi protocol, has reportedly identified the attacker.

Previously, security company CertiK suggested that the attacker may have gained control of the private key of the XLink bridge controlling ALEX. This service allows users to transfer tokens between different blockchains. The hacker transferred Bitcoin (BTC) worth over $300,000, stablecoins worth $3.3 million, and Sugar Kingdom (SKO) tokens worth $75,000. The stolen funds have been frozen by major exchanges.
