According to Foresight News, Casey, the founder of Bitcoin NFT protocol Ordinals, has announced the release of version 0.18.1. This new update includes key fixes and improvements, and all users are advised to upgrade.

The update includes a change where the number of transaction confirmations submitted at the Bitcoin Core block height is greater than the actual number of confirmations for the transaction block up to the engraving. Additionally, a 'turbo' flag has been added when issuing inscriptions, which users can choose not to add.

The update also fixes a deviation error in the wallet that caused an increase in the waiting time for 'ord'. This new version aims to enhance the user experience and improve the overall performance of the protocol.
