According to BlockBeats, Telegram's advertising platform will officially open to advertisers in nearly 100 new countries on February 28th. Channel owners in these countries will receive a 50% commission from the revenue generated by Telegram displaying ads on their channels.
To ensure fast and secure ad payments and withdrawals, the TON blockchain will be used. The official statement mentioned that the revenue will be shared with channel owners, creating a virtuous cycle. Content creators will be able to cash out their Toncoin or reinvest it to promote and upgrade their channels.
