Qubetics announced on October 6 that it has stopped development of its Layer-1 blockchain, chain abstraction protocol, and decentralized VPN, and is ending its engagement with Antier.

The project reported over $18 million raised in its presale. It acknowledged that its original technology was not delivered within the expected timeframe or scope.

Beta testing began in October 2025. In March 2026, Qubetics cited CertiK audit findings requiring architectural changes and reported VPN problems. Its August Ethereum migration announcement still promised continued product development.

Qubetics now plans to review and publish its code on GitHub after the Antier handover. No replacement roadmap was announced.

Qubetics denied shutting down and said token ownership gives no management rights. Updates will follow material developments.

It reported burning 68.09 million team $TICS, cutting supply by 5% to 1.294 billion. The treasury retains 667.28 million TICS, or 51.6% of supply. Further burns and a 12-month lock are planned after a review, but burn amounts and lock terms remain pending.

The update does not disclose presale spending, remaining funding, or practical $TICS utility after the development halt.
