🚨 STRATEGY HAS $785M LEFT TO CLOSE STRC’S FINAL $5 GAP
Strategy is continuing its aggressive effort to bring its STRC preferred stock back toward its $100 target, and the latest numbers show just how much capital is still involved.
The company has approximately $785.2 million remaining under its $1 billion STRC share repurchase program.
Over the past three weeks, Strategy spent roughly $214.8 million buying back 2.3 million STRC shares. To fund those purchases, the company sold approximately 3,328 BTC for $213.3 million.
That means Strategy is now using a portion of its massive Bitcoin treasury to support its preferred-stock structure and improve STRC’s market position.
📊 Key numbers:
• STRC repurchase program: $1B
• Remaining amount: ~$785.2M
• STRC shares repurchased: ~2.3M
• BTC sold: ~3,328 BTC
• BTC sale proceeds: ~$213.3M
• Strategy’s BTC holdings: 840,447 BTC
• STRC target: $100
The bigger story is not simply that Strategy sold Bitcoin.
It shows how the company’s capital structure is evolving. Strategy built its reputation around accumulating Bitcoin, but its growing preferred-stock ecosystem also creates ongoing financial obligations. Supporting STRC can therefore become strategically important because a healthier preferred-stock market can help Strategy maintain access to capital.
For $BTC, the sale itself is relatively small compared with Strategy’s enormous holdings. But investors will be watching closely if additional BTC sales are required to complete the remaining $785M repurchase capacity.
The key question now is:
Can Strategy close the remaining STRC gap while continuing to protect its long-term Bitcoin accumulation strategy?
This is becoming an increasingly important part of the Strategy + Bitcoin treasury model.
