Has Uptober been cancelled? October has dealt us another painful blow.
Last night's major hack triggered a 6% drop in $BTC, while
$AVAX plunged 11%.
However, sellers haven't fully regained control. Altcoin dominance had started ticking upward, while the MACD histogram shows an intense battle between buyers and sellers. Neither side has established clear dominance.
Now, let's look at
$AVAX .
Despite briefly losing the $8.20–$9.834 range during the sell-off, AVAX reclaimed it remarkably quickly.
Here's what matters:
Above $9.834: Our next upside target is $15.194.Below $8.20: The outlook becomes increasingly bearish.
What about the fundamentals?
October has brought several important developments for Avalanche:
🔹 Progmat migrated approximately $2.7 billion in digital securities infrastructure to an Avalanche L1 in Japan.
🔹 Lynq and ZeroBeta enabled institutional use of tokenized U.S. Treasuries as collateral for lending and trading.
🔹 Dinari expanded its tokenized equities platform to Avalanche, bringing over 350 tokenized U.S. stocks, ETFs and REITs.
🔹 Dubai DIFC Courts adopted Avalanche for cryptographic document and order verification.
🔹 The Helicon upgrade continues to improve network performance, with Avalanche recording an average block time of 911 milliseconds on October 23.
The bigger picture: While market sentiment remains fragile, Avalanche continues expanding its institutional footprint, tokenization infrastructure and real-world utility.
Price action is struggling, but development hasn't stopped.
I'm watching the $8.20–$9.834 range closely. Holding above it keeps $15.194 on the radar.
