I’ll Do It Next Month,” Said My Friend, Every Month
I think everyone who’s into crypto has that one friend who keeps asking, “So what is Bitcoin, really?” Mine is the opposite: he knows what he wants to buy and why, and he can explain $BTC better than half my timeline. 😄
His problem is something else: he never does anything on time. Over coffee last week, he walked me through a typical month, and it sounded like this:
🔸 plans to buy a bit of crypto every month, then forgets
🔸 means to cancel subscriptions he never uses and keeps paying
🔸 misses renewal dates for things that actually matter
🔸 makes good plans that never land on schedule
He wants to do all of it, and he knows exactly why it matters. He just can’t stick to a schedule.
So I told him at least one line on that list could run without him. I opened the WhiteBIT app and showed him Auto-Invest. Put simply, you pick an asset, an amount, and how often to buy, and the purchases happen on their own. It works for the big names like BTC and $ETH and for any other asset on the platform, with no minimum amount. Five minutes later, his monthly buy was set.

On the way home, I kept thinking about it. A lot of people who don’t invest regularly understand the market just fine. What trips them up is doing anything regularly, even the things they planned themselves. 💡
For a long time, crypto seemed like something you had to watch every minute. Now a lot of it could run on autopilot, from regular buys to alerts and bots, and for people like my friend, that might matter more than any market explanation ever could.
