Just after the first day of November, Hyperliquid’s assistance fund received a test transfer of 2.52 stablecoins, arriving right at midnight UTC.

On-chain records show that these small transfers are used to verify the route. According to public data, USDC reserve yields flowing into the assistance fund in November exceeded $15 million, equivalent at current prices to buybacks of around 180,000 $HYPE .

A round already took place in October. The first month’s yield was about $14.58 million, deposited into the fund on October 4. Buybacks continued for the next 48 hours, and $HYPE rose about 4% over those two days.

Today, $HYPE is trading at 86.04, still down 2.03% over 24 hours. The price hasn’t caught up, but the buyback calendar keeps turning as usual.

Reserve yields are being converted into sustained purchases of the token, with the scale determined by the mechanism itself: the process repeats every month, and the amount varies with the size of the reserves. Those watching this process are really looking to see whether the funds arrive on time again next month.
