Binance — the world's largest crypto exchange — was hit by the biggest crypto hack in history. Hackers drained around $6.3 billion from its wallets across 10 blockchains, moving most of it in about 20 minutes.

US blockchain intelligence firms TRM Labs and Chainalysis attribute the attack to North Korea's TraderTraitor unit, with Chainalysis stating "high confidence."

About $3 billion has been frozen with help from industry partners. Roughly $2.4 billion in BTC and ETH is still under hacker control

Binance has suspended deposits and withdrawals and says it will cover all customer losses.

Market reaction: BTC dropped to a six-week low of about $76,368, down more than 3%.
