Uber Technologies earned an additional 1.5 days of yield on idle corporate cash through a blockchain investment pilot with HSBC and Franklin Templeton. Uber bought a Franklin Templeton tokenized money market fund on Thursday using HSBC tokenized bank deposits and sold the investment on Sunday. Traditional corporate treasury operations typically sell investments before Friday's market close. HSBC's Manish Kohli said the pilot showed technical readiness, with plans to extend access to U.S. corporate customers and broaden investment choices.
