Binance co-CEO Richard Teng said Friday that investigators found additional security breaches in the $6.3 billion hack beyond an employee laptop initially suspected of being compromised. Teng said Binance hopes to restart withdrawals by Sunday, within approximately 40 hours. Teng reiterated Binance's commitment to pay for all losses with company funds. Teng said attackers targeted Binance's own hot wallet, not customer funds. However, an examination of Binance's reserve data found that the compromised wallets had previously appeared among assets backing customer balances.
