NEAR Price Eyes 16% Rally to $5 as Futures Volume Hits $2.88B

  • Van de Poppe highlighted a rebound from $3.90 to $4.40, with resistance still overhead.

  • Reported futures volume reached $2.88 billion, approximately five times spot turnover.

  • A recovery toward $5 depends on reclaiming resistance and sustaining demand.

NEAR price traded around $4.31 in the supplied market snapshot as rising futures activity accompanied a rebound from recent support. Analyst Michaël van de Poppe highlighted a bounce from $3.90 to $4.40 after rejection near $4.60. However, mixed trading flows and resistance overhead leave the recovery dependent on stronger follow-through rather than derivatives activity alone.

NEAR Price Recovery Faces Resistance Between $4.50 and $4.80

In his October 30 post, van de Poppe described the token as resilient despite broader market stress. His reversal outlook depended on the Binance hack’s worst market effects being priced in, not confirmation that the incident was resolved.

The move from $3.90 to $4.40 represents an approximately 12.8% rebound. That bounce shows a response at support, but it does not establish a sustained uptrend.

For NEAR price, the supplied technical analysis identifies $4.50–$4.80 as an important recovery zone. Reclaiming that range would strengthen the argument for a possible move toward $5, roughly 16% above $4.31.

Support remains around $4.00 and the recently tested $3.90 level. Below those areas, the analysis highlights $3.60 as another potential support region.

NEAR Price Outlook Meets Mixed Futures and Spot Market Flows

CoinGlass, reported approximately $2.88 billion in daily futures volume against $569.46 million in spot volume. Futures turnover was therefore about five times spot activity, highlighting the scale of leveraged trading.

Reported futures activity increased across Binance, OKX and BingX. These figures measure trading turnover, not funding rates or proof that new capital entered the market.

Binance’s top-trader long/short position ratio stood at 1.7808 in the reported snapshot. That suggests a long bias within the measured group, rather than across all traders.

NEAR price also faced contrasting flow indicators. Reported eight-hour futures net outflows reached $5.86 million, while spot net inflows totaled $13.16 million.

Those measures cover different markets and should not be combined into a single buying-pressure figure. Separately, the project recently announced a November 14 London builder briefing featuring NEAR Intents and Aurora, focused on cross-chain liquidity and private transactions.
