Yesterday, the founder of Binance rang the opening bell on Nasdaq — for a BNB treasury company.

And while everyone watched that bell, BNB quietly did something Bitcoin could not: it held its ground.

THE BELL

BNB Standard Corporation marked its rebrand at Nasdaq MarketSite on Monday, with Changpeng Zhao in attendance. The company holds 515,544 BNB — $384 million at Monday's price, about 93% of its total assets. CEO Alex Odagiu said the plan is to grow BNB per share and build an operating business on BNB Chain, starting with a validator node.

This was not an IPO — it was a Wall Street stage for a blockchain treasury. CZ put it bluntly: crypto assets will become "AI's native currency," and he wants BNB Chain to be one of the primary networks for it.

THE PRICE

BNB trades around $736 and has defended its $735 trend line for days — even as Bitcoin slipped intraday below $80,000 today to $79,632, after closing above it on both weekend days.

BNB is not rallying. But it is not breaking either.

TOMORROW IS A DOUBLE TRIGGER

Wednesday 28 October brings two events on the same day.

First, the Fed decision at 2:00 p.m. ET. Markets overwhelmingly price a hold at 3.75–4.00% — a cut is off the table, and the live risk is a hawkish signal toward a December hike. History says tone matters more than the decision: a dovish September 2025 cut sent BNB through $1,000 for the first time, but a hawkish December cut dragged it below $870.

Second, BNB Chain's Jenner hard fork hits testnet the same day — a Payment Lane reserving 5% of block gas for payments, millisecond timestamps, and the foundation for a compliant-asset standard. Honest note: testnet only, mainnet timing unannounced, and past upgrades like Lorentz and Maxwell barely moved price on launch day. Judge Jenner on activity weeks later, not Wednesday's candle.

LEVELS TO WATCH

Trade-relevant setup, not a prediction: immediate support at $735, October low near $705 as backup. Resistance stacks at $747–$750, then $750–$760 — a daily close above that zone opens the path toward $800. A surprise Fed hike could send BNB back toward $700.

Keep the $BNB chart open into Wednesday's decision — the $735 line and the $750–$760 ceiling are where this story gets decided, and the $BTC chart will tell you first whether risk appetite is returning.

THE HONEST RISK

The other side: BNB Chain TVL has cooled to $5.49 billion, down 5% in a day per DeFiLlama, even as 7-day DEX volume held near $6.45 billion. Q3 revenue jumped 54% to $54.2 million, yet daily active addresses fell 14%. And the DOJ review of Binance's 2023 settlement is ongoing — no charges, no finding so far, but a real tail risk if that changes.

The take: Wall Street just gave BNB a bell ceremony, a testnet upgrade lands on Fed day, and price is coiled between $735 and $760. Tomorrow we find out which way it breaks.

Not financial advice. DYOR.
